Health Guarantee for French & English Bulldog Puppies

This Health Guarantee is a binding agreement between the original buyer and the seller. At Premium AKC French & English Bulldog Home, we are committed to the lifelong health of our puppies and the satisfaction of our buyers. Every French Bulldog and English Bulldog puppy we place comes with a one (1) year Health Guarantee that covers genetic health defects for one year from the puppy’s date of birth.

Initial Veterinary Exam

You have 48 hours from the time of purchase to have your new puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian. We strongly recommend scheduling this appointment prior to picking up or receiving your puppy.

If your veterinarian determines that your puppy has a life-threatening or genetic defect, you must:

  • Notify us immediately

  • Provide a written statement from the licensed veterinarian, including the full diagnosis, within 24 hours of discovery

We reserve the right to seek a second opinion or require additional testing by a veterinarian of our choosing to verify the diagnosis.

In Case of Illness or Death

If your puppy becomes ill, shows distress, or is not eating well within the first 30 days, contact us immediately for support.

If the puppy dies and a replacement is requested:

  • A necropsy (autopsy) must be performed by a certified veterinary lab at the buyer’s expense

  • The puppy will be replaced or refunded only if the cause of death is due to a covered genetic condition or pre-existing illness

If your vet identifies a congenital defect within the first year, and it results in death, we will replace your puppy at no cost. A letter from your vet and the necropsy report must confirm the genetic nature of the condition.

Replacement Terms

  • Replacement puppies will be of equal value

  • Replacement is based on availability

  • While we do our best to match size and color, these characteristics are not guaranteed

  • All papers and documentation must be returned in good condition

  • The buyer is responsible for all transport and travel-related costs

  • Euthanasia without our written approval voids the health guarantee

⚠️ What This Guarantee Does Not Cover

  • Hypoglycemia (preventable through proper care)

  • Parasites (internal/external)

  • Hernias, undescended testicles, underbite/overbite

  • Allergies, injuries, heatstroke, or kennel cough after the first vet check

  • House-training, coat type, size, color, or temperament

  • Breeding ability or conditions affecting the ability to breed (unless puppy is sold with breeding rights)

Spay & Neuter Policy

Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, all puppies are sold as companions only. The buyer agrees to spay or neuter their puppy at the appropriate age recommended by their veterinarian.

Final Notes

  • Any failure to follow medical advice or care instructions provided by the seller or vet will void this guarantee

  • We are not responsible for any veterinary expenses incurred after the puppy leaves our care unless previously agreed to in writing

  • Refunds are granted only at the seller’s discretion—a replacement puppy is our default resolution
